BLACK NITRIDE
Add this option to have your slide refinished to factory specifications after milling. Black Nitride provides unmatched durability and corrosion protection than any other treatment available. (PLEASE NOTE THAT ONLY STEEL AND STAINLESS STEEL PARTS CAN BE BLACK NITRIDE FINISHED).
You can also add Nitride treatment and carekote products at the same time! This way you can gain the full benefit of Nitride and with the customization that cerakote offers. Simply add both products to your cart. (How does this process work) We sandblast the Black Nitride surface layer, which is a thin layer of iron-oxide. Sandblasting exposing the underlying steel of your slide which will appear matte grey. This provides an excellent surface for Cerakote to adhere to allowing you customize while still maintaining the hardness and wear-resistant Black Nitride provides.
STONEWASH NITRIDE
Stonewash Nitride is done after your slide has finished Black Nitride process. This is done by placing your slide in a state of the art tumbler to give your slide a unique distressed wear pattern, while maintaining all the benefits that Black Nitride offers.
